FAQ
What models are compatible?
The Burrito Box fits all stock Yamaha Tenere 700 models from 2021 to 2026. Some models require relocation of the factory installed evaporation charcoal emission canister on some models. Note, users are responsible for any modifications to their motorcycle and compliance with their local laws.
Known compatible with both GYTR and CamelADV frame braces.
Not compatible with crash bars that mount to the rear engine block tabs
How does it attach?
The box bolts to both of the rear engine mounts on the rear of the engine block which are typically unused on the Tenere. A few models of crash bars do mount to this locations, so feel free to reach out if you have fit questions.
Is it waterproof?
No, but in our experience it is water resistant and stays dry from rain and water as long as it isn’t submerged. If your items must stay dry, consider loosely packing them in a bag before going in the box.
Does it got hot?
Yes, even with thermal insulation, the box picks up some heat from the engine. In our experience, tools and other items stay cool enough to handle with gloves, even after long rides in the heat, but we can’t account for all us types. Idling in particularly hot weather is likely to make contents quite toasty.
